High-Frequency Pulsations Modeling
This paper focuses on mathematical modeling of high frequency pulsations in pump turbines, which are the source of high-cycle continuous stress of the spiral casing cover, wicket gates and runner. The problem is solved by transfer matrix method. F-A char. and MS Excel programs have been used for data processing. Final results are presented by graphs of

Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.

Low Frequency Pulsation Generation by Energetic Particles
We review some ideas developed over the past decade about the generation of low frequency waves in the magnetosphere by wave particle resonance. We emphasise the importance of wave symmetry about the equator, the particular type of particle distributions present in the magnetosphere and differences between drift and bounce resonance. Many arguments are

SuperWASP observations of pulsating Am stars [PDF]
We have studied over 1600 Am stars at a photometric precision of 1 mmag with SuperWASP photometric data. Contrary to previous belief, we find that around 200 Am stars are pulsating δ Sct and γ Dor stars, with low amplitudes that have been missed in ...

The Eclipsing $\delta$ Scuti Star EPIC 245932119
We present the physical properties of EPIC 245932119 ($K_{\rm p}$ = $+$9.82) exhibiting both eclipses and pulsations from the {\it K{\rm 2}} photometry.

Transport Phenomena of Solid Particles in Pulsatile Pipe Flow
The transportation mechanism of single solid particles in pulsating water flow in a vertical pipe was investigated by means of videography and numerical simulations. The trajectories of alumina particles were observed experimentally by stereo videography.

Effect of Meniscus Damping Ratio on Drop-on-Demand Electrohydrodynamic Jetting
Drop-on-demand (DOD) electrohydrodynamic (EHD) jet printing uses a nozzle and pulsated electric fields to eject small ink droplets of functional material to the appointed spot of a substrate at the appointed time, which offers solutions of high ...

On the Frequency of Geomagnetic Pulsation pc
Using a preliminary three-month table of IAGA, the hourly frequency of pc, F, which is first expressed by the number of pc appeared in each one hour interval in local time, is calculated at each of the fourteen observatories in Europe-Africa and Japan-Australia longitudinal zones, for each month and each season during the period from October, 1957 to ...
