This study investigates the role of hole‐blocking layers (HBLs), particularly the combination of two HBLs in photomultiplication‐type organic photodetectors (PM‐OPDs), which results in high gain and record‐fast response. The proposed HBL strategy also allows for the use of photoactive layer with balanced donor–acceptor stoichiometry, which can be ...

Non-invariance of the speed of light in free-space [PDF]
A plane monochromatic wave propagates in vacuum at the velocity of c. However, wave packets limited in space and time are used to transmit energy and information. Here it has been shown based on the wave approach that the on-axis part of the pulsed beams propagates in free space at a variable speed, exhibiting both subluminal and superluminal ...

Method for in-situ nondestructive measurement of Young's modulus of plate structures [PDF]
A method for determining stiffness of a composite laminate plate entails disposing a device for generating an acoustical pulse against a surface of the plate and disposing a detecting device against the same surface spaced a known distance from the pulse-

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

P1.14 PULSE WAVE VELOCITY AND KIDNEY DISEASE
Increased arterial stiffness is one of the major alterations in arterial wall. It can be evaluated in non-invasively way by measuring the pulse wave velocity PWV in large arteries.

Solar‐driven evaporation is a promising solution to the global water crisis; however, it faces a significant challenge of salt accumulation during the evaporation process. This study introduces an innovative in situ electrical impedance tomography technique for real‐time monitoring of salt transportation in the evaporator.
