Pulse-Width Modulation Regulators

2015
In the present chapter, the results of Chap. 10 are developed for power supply systems with \(PWM\) boost and buck- boost converters . Regime parameters of converter are determined relatively to the maximum permissible load voltage and the control pulse width. Regime change and correspondence between various regime parameters are examined as projective

Bipolar Multiplexed Pulse Width Modulation

IETE Journal of Education, 2013
AbstractThis paper presents generation and detection of two-channel bipolar multiplexed pulse width modulated signal. The positive half cycles of a polar triangular wave of frequency fc are modulated in amplitude by one message signal and the negative half cycles are modulated in amplitude by another message signal.

Pulse width modulated optical OFDM

2015 IEEE International Conference on Communication Workshop (ICCW), 2015
In this paper, the PWM encoding of an optical OFDM transmission is studied and simulated. Traditional optical OFDM schemes make use of linear drivers, but the inherent nonlinear behavior of the optical emitters produce a harmful effect on the demodulated signal.

Pulse-width modulation in sigma-delta modulators

Proceedings of 2010 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2010
Time-encoding machines map analog or multi-bit digital signals to a binary stream. The information contained in the input signal is preserved by the high resolution achieved in the time domain. Pulse-Width Modulators (PWMs) rely on a similar operation principle.

PULSE WIDTH MODULATION WITH HYBRID SAMPLING TECHNIQUES

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983
Abstract The authors show how, by means of a simple circuit using particularities of sampling techniques, a low cost PWM polyphase generator has been developed. It is of particular interest that only standard digital and analog circuits are used, which all fit on a single eurocard. Further the authors describe the requirements for PWM generators and

MIDI Pulse Width Modulation Application

2011 International Conference on P2P, Parallel, Grid, Cloud and Internet Computing, 2011
Article describes simulation application for automatic managing lights devices on the stage. There are described all technologies and protocols necessary for application development. MIDI messages are input information and as an output serves Pulse width modulation. A managing tension is the result of Pulse width modulation.

Digitally redesigned pulse-width modulation spacecraft control

Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics, 1995
This paper presents a new method for the design of control laws for systems with on-off nonlinear actuators. The new methodology improves the design of control laws for pulse-modulated systems by allowing the use of continuous-time multi-inputlmultioutput design procedures.

Pulse Width Modulated Output

2016
The PWM support in the ARTIK is a direct benefit from implementing the Arduino architecture inside a powerful Linux architecture. The ARTIK PWM works very similarly to the Arduino feature but there are some additional capabilities that a Linux kernel offers in addition to the standard Arduino support.
