A new type of pulse doppler radar has been described, which depends on three pulses transmitted in sequence at three different mutually coherent frequencies. The cancellation of stationary targets and signal processing for extraction of moving targets is by mutual comparison of the echo pulses.

Ultrasonic pulse Doppler apparatus
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1989An ultrasonic pulse Doppler apparatus has: range gate (20) for separately performing range-gating of the respective received ultrasonic echo signals of the oscillation elements of an ultrasonic probe (1) each time the signals are respectively adjusted in correspondence with the direction of a received ultrasonic beam; pulse stretcher filter (21) for ...

The main objective of this chapter is to describe how an airborne pulse-Doppler radar isolates targets of interest from clutter and measures target range and velocity. Related topics such as pulse compression, automatic detection, target tracking, and target and clutter statistics are described.

Pulsed Doppler Echocardiography: An Historical Perspective
Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, 2018Over the past six decades, echocardiography has evolved into an important technique for not only imaging cardiac structures, but also, by employing the Doppler equation, for assessing cardiac blood flow and tissue velocities. This review focuses on pulsed Doppler echocardiography: its principles, early development, and clinical applications.

High Pulse Repetition Frequency Pulse Doppler Radar
2012Pulsed radars that are not required to be Doppler sensing systems have traditionally employed low pulse repetition frequency (PRF) waveforms. A low PRF is defined as one which is sufficiently low so as to avoid range ambiguities. To avoid range ambiguity, the maximum detection range of the radar for all target and clutter returns is required not to ...

Pulsed Doppler diagnosis of tricuspid insufficiency.
Giornale italiano di cardiologia, 1983To verify the ability of Pulsed Doppler Echocardiography (PDE) to detect flow abnormalities in tricuspid insufficiency (TI), 27 normal controls and 83 heart patients (pts) were studied. The latter group underwent an invasive diagnostic evaluation.
