Respiratory Motion‐Corrected Model‐Based 3D Water‐Fat MRA of the Thorax at 0.55 T
ABSTRACT Purpose The goal of this study was to develop a 5‐min 3D MRA acquisition at 0.55 T with predictable scan time, 100% data efficiency, and robust water‐fat separation. Methods For full data efficiency, the proposed method combined self‐gating with retrospective motion correction while ensuring a predictable 5‐min scan time.

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is a significant challenge for low‐field MRI. Traditional EMI mitigation approaches either limit portability or demand advanced hardware. We present FENCE (Flexible Electromagnetic Noise reduCtion Endo‐shield), a novel approach for EMI mitigation using flexible PCBs placed inside the RF coil.

Sorghum Protein: Ethanol‐Based Extraction to Improve Yield and Properties
A key barrier to expanding the use of sorghum‐based proteins is the challenge related to protein extraction and utilization via conventional methods. This work evaluated a blended solvent approach (ethanol:alkali) for protein extraction from ground, pearled sorghum and wet‐milled sorghum protein meal to improve yield and properties.

Key Points Peixe#0 zircon was characterised for U‐Pb geochronology using CA‐ID‐TIMS, SIMS and a long‐term LA‐ICP‐MS data set. The consistent results establish Peixe#0 as a reference material for U‐Pb quality control. Trace element heterogeneity requires careful, CL‐guided spot selection.
