Hardware in loop testing of an insulin pump

2015 IEEE International Test Conference (ITC), 2015
System test plays a very important role in the product development cycle of a safety-critical device, such as an insulin pump. Given the significant risk of this device, fault-injection should be performed to validate dependable implementation under abnormal circumstances, namely: data corruption, bit flips, incorrect signal assertions and more ...

WELL TESTING IN THE ANNULUS OF PUMPING WELLS

Proceedings of International Meeting on Petroleum Engineering, 1986
ABSTRACT Well testing technique in the annulus of a pumping well has been a subject on which great efforts have been made by petroleum scientists and engineers in recent years. Based on the practical situation in our country this paper analyzes and discusses in detail the features of such techniques developed in our country.

Aquifer Pumping Tests

2016
Aquifer pumping tests are an integral component of aquifer characterization because they provide quantitative data on large-scale aquifer hydraulic properties such as aquifer transmissivity, storativity, and the vertical hydraulic conductivity (leakance) of confining strata.

Pumping Well Testing

Annual Technical Meeting, 1990
Introduction Pressure transient analysis has undergone a significant development over the last two decades. Sophisticated methods of flow regime identification were developed along with the models of complex heterogeneous systems. The technology is strictly applicable to data obtained on flowing wells.

Modeling and testing of a novel piezoelectric pump

IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2004. Proceedings. ICRA '04. 2004, 2004
While there is a wide range of actuation technologies, none currently rivals the overall performance (power density, bandwidth, stress, stroke) of conventional hydraulic actuation [1]. It is well known in the actuation community that the power-to-weight ratios and the power-to-volume ratios of hydraulic actuators are, respectively, around 5 times and ...

Testing Pumps in Air

Journal of Engineering for Power, 1968
Research on pumps, particularly those for transporting cryogenic fluids, is very expensive. Rocketdyne has tested pumps with air as the working fluid and has found that a very good correlation exists between air test data and liquid test data. This paper gives a description of the air rigs used by Rocketdyne and compares the data taken in air with data

Multidepth Pumping Tests in Deep Aquifers

Groundwater, 2014
Abstract Multidepth pumping tests ( MDPTs ), in which different sections of a screen are pumped in sequence, are not being used by hydrogeologists, despite the capability of such tests to resolve uncertainties in the estimation of aquifer characteristics.

Test of Coal Slime Pumping by Single-Screw Pump

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
Previous research on thick pastes such as coal slime was using two-cylinder piston pump as power equipment.Since the pressure fluctuation was big, flow measurement was not that accurate. In order to solve the problem, this paper will presents a feasibility study on conveying coal slime by single-screw pump. We used a single-screw pump as power equipment

Analysis and Test of a Viscous Pump with Radial Pumping Grooves

Tribology Transactions, 1994
A new disk-type viscous pump utilizing multi-radial pumping grooves on its stator has been designed, analyzed and subsequently fabricated and tested. Analyses show that this new design pump exhibits higher flow rate characteristics than the recently reported multi-lobe design for the same pump size and rotor-stator clearances.
