Performance of Shear Reinforcement against Punching Shear Loads
This research targets to maximize the ductility and strength of the reinforced concrete flat slabs. However, to be efficient, the shear reinforcement must be anchored well in the tension and compression zones of the slab. The test results on the slab-column connection models which provided with shear reinforcement are introduced in this study.

Cuttings, Combings, Fettlings and Flock: Gender and Australian Wool ‘Waste’, 1900–1950
ABSTRACT As Australia's wool industry produced vast amounts of fine fleece from the nineteenth century, the wool processing and clothes manufacturing industries generated waste – products like cuttings, combings, fettlings and flock. Salvaged and then sold to waste merchants, these and other materials had a second life.

Experimental Study of Punching Shear on Reinforced Concrete Waffle Slabs Strengthened by CFRP Sheets
For the last five decades, researchers have been studying the punching shear of two-way reinforced slabs at column supports in structural testing laboratories. Limited tests are available on retrofitted waffle slab punching behavior. These are necessary

Punching shear behavior of steel fiber‐reinforced slabs with Filigran® punching shear reinforcement
AbstractFor strengthening punching shear endangered areas, both (1) punching shear reinforcement such as stirrups, headed studs or lattice girders and (2) the use of steel fiber‐reinforced concrete (SFRC) have been investigated and applied for many years.

Summary This case series describes the use of a disposable, canister‐free negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) system (PICO®) in combination with punch grafting for the treatment of distal limb wounds in three horses. Each horse presented with complex traumatic injuries resulting in delayed or inadequate healing of distal limb wounds.
