Pure-Tone Audiometry of Patients with Auditory Brainstem Response Abnormalities
ORL, 1986To determine the pure-tone thresholds of patients with brainstem disorders, pure-tone audiometry was done on 22 patients with partial auditory brainstem response wave disappearance (including wave I response, wave I-III response, and wave I-IV response).

Pure Tone Audiometry and Whispered Voice Test
ORL, 1973A comparative study on the hearing abilities of about 200 pre-school children was undertaken in order to investigate conformities and differences obtained by test results with pure tone audiometry ...

Algorithm of pure tone audiometry based on multiple judgment
The 9th International Symposium on Chinese Spoken Language Processing, 2014Characteristics of auditory perception plays an important role in hearing assessment. In this paper, for embedded platform, we proposed a model transforming amplitude to SPL with acoustic parameters based on auditory characteristics, achieved the automatic generation of standard pure tone test signals.

A micro-computer based trainer for pure-tone audiometry
British Journal of Audiology, 1986A micro-computer based system to simulate patient performance on pure-tone audiometry has been developed, which in conjunction with a dummy audiometer allows easy development of a student training facility. The system can be easily configured to realistically and comprehensively represent a wide range of hearing losses.

Individual Masking Levels in Pure Tone Audiometry
Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1965THE FUNCTION of the audiologist is twofold (1) to assess the hearing deficit of the individual and (2) to determine, if possible, the locus (or loci) of pathology from which the deficit arises. While bone-conduction audiometry gives a measure of inner ear deficit (or of cochlear reserve), the difference between air-conduction (AC) and bone-conduction (
