Hentaxan, a new silicon sorbent, is a complex drug preparation containing hentamycin sulfate and zinc-tryptophan, endowed with antioxidant and immunomodulating activities. We used it for treating suppurating wounds in those women in labour. As many as 65 parturient women were examined.
