The experience of plastic closure of purulent wounds in the foot of 55 patients is presented. The average area of wounds was 61 cm2. Treatment of defects of plantar surface was most difficult. The differential policy in plastic surgery of foot wounds was developed. Complete closure of the defect was achieved in 81% patients.
