Local management of purulent wounds with wound dressings
Khirurgiya, 2022Purulent-inflammatory lesions of skin and soft tissues account for 30-35% of causes of admission to surgical hospitals. In outpatient system, this value reaches 35-60%. Moreover, suppuration of wounds after elective surgery occurs in 2-5% of cases. Adequately selected drugs for local wound therapy can achieve localization of purulent process and avoid ...

Cytokine therapy of experimental purulent wounds
Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 1997The effect of naturally occurring cytokine complex on aseptic and purulent wounds is examined in guinea pigs. Healing of aseptic wounds treated with the complex is 1.4 times faster than in the control: the rate of wound contraction reaches the maximum after 5–6 daysvs. 10–11 days in the control.

[Antioxidant therapy of purulent wounds in animal experiments].
Biulleten' eksperimental'noi biologii i meditsiny, 1989A new complex method for treating purulent wounds has been elaborated in the experiment on 22 mature chinchilla rabbits with a simulated abscess. It has been established that a combined use of a 2% alcohol solution of ionol, a 10% aqueous solution of urotropin for irrigation of the wound cavity and a single administration of nialamide cuts down the ...

[Treatment of purulent wounds by using of negative pressure].
Khirurgiia, 2014It was analyzed the results of wounds treatment complicated by surgical infection. An apparatus for creating negative pressure VivanoTec/S042 was used for this in 74 patients. Types of surgical interventions depended on phase of inflammatory process and severity of clinical manifestations. It was done 153 operations.
