Pustular psoriasis of pregnancy

SUMMARYThe case of an 18 year old woman who developed generalized pustular psoriasis of pregnancy in the 23rd week of her first pregnancy is reported. Treatment with topical therapies was unsuccessful and oral steroids were introduced with rapid response.

Pustular psoriasis in childhood

Recurrent annular pustular psoriasis over the trunk of an 11-year-old boy followed infantile psoriasis in the napkin area. Etretinate therapy induced a partial remission. The difficulty in distinguishing between annular pustular psoriasis and subcorneal pustular dermatosis of Sneddon and Wilkinson is discussed.
