Embodied Energy and Environmental Impact of Large-Power Stand-Alone Photovoltaic Irrigation Systems [PDF]
A life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology was used to evaluate the cumulative energy demand and the related environmental impact of three large-power stand-alone photovoltaic (PV) irrigation systems ranging from 40 kWp to 360 kWp.

On the number of PV modules in series for large-power irrigation systems
Large-power PV irrigation systems (PVIS) from 40 kWp to 1 MWp are increasingly being introduced onto the market since the main technical barriers have been removed and some real-scale demonstrators have shown cost savings up to 80% when compared with the electricity costs from the grid or diesel generators.

Exploring Agrivoltaics: A Pathway to Climate-Resilient and Productive Land Use in Northern Bangladesh. [PDF]
ABSTRACT The growing demand for food, energy, and water in resource‐constrained regions intensifies land‐use conflicts, where solar photovoltaic (PV) expansion often competes with agriculture. Agrivoltaics, the co‐location of crop cultivation beneath PV systems, offers a potential dual‐use solution to enhance land efficiency. This study presents one of

PV Based Automatic Irrigation System
Abstract: In Because of the lack of rains and scarcity of land reservoir water, proper irrigation methods are critical in the field of agriculture. The continuous extraction of water from the earth is lowering the water level, causing a lot of land to slowly come into the unirrigated zones.
