Key Challenges for Commercializing Perovskite–Silicon Tandem Solar Cells
This review discusses the scientific and technological challenges in advancing perovskite–silicon tandem solar cells (PSTSCs) from lab‐scale to commercial viability, focusing on long‐term stability, scalability, and economic feasibility. Key issues include intrinsic and extrinsic degradation factors, installation conditions, environmental impacts, and ...

Against global warming more renewable energy should be used [1,6]. The direct use of PV can be cost effective and help reducing it. It can be stand-alone or as a complement of the grid. In the early stage of photovoltaic panels already pumps worked "as and when the sun shines". Gradually PV was used to inject in the grid and at off grid using batteries.

Simulating shadow effect on PV panels
Through this paper we study losses that occur in a photovoltaic system by making simulations using the following software: Pspice and PVSYST, emphasizing the moment when the PV cells are shaded or covered, namely when the level of irradiation is not uniform throughout the module. In technical literature, the irradiation degree of solar panels is one of

Reductive conversion of CO2 to formic acid with waste silicon reducing agent catalyzed by in situ generation of active fluoride species from a tertiary amine, protonic acid, and simple inorganic fluoride salt, such as KF and NaF. ABSTRACT The activation and catalytic reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2) using silicon‐based reducing agents is an important ...

Potential Analysis of On‐Site Oxygen and Ozone Production for Wastewater Treatment Plants
The potential of a power‐to‐gas process focusing on the oxygen stream to cover an upcoming demand of ozone at German wastewater treatment plants is analyzed. Economic and ecological parameters are compared to the conventional production of hydrogen and oxygen. Powered by on‐site produced wind energy, the process is deemed beneficial.

ABSTRACT The extant carbon neutrality (CN) literature largely offers macro‐ or meso‐level analyses, providing limited insights into implementation experiences that could inform granular policymaking and industry strategies. To address this gap, we examine the lived CN experiences of firms in the transportation, energy, manufacturing, and construction ...
