First-Year Performance of a PV Plant in Jordan Compared to PV Plants in the Region
The paper presents the first year (2014) performance analysis of a 276 kWp grid-connected roof-type solar PV plant located at the campus of Al-Ahliyya Amman University in Jordan, using monitored data. The plant is installed on 3000 m2-roof of Arena building at University campus. The array consists of 1176 modules with two orientations 10° and 15°. The

Fluorene‐functionalized spiro‐phenothiazine (PTZ‐Fl) exhibits strong Li+ affinity and thermal stability, enabling a PCE of 25.75% in small‐area cells and 22.07% in 25 cm2 modules. Under ISOS‐L3 conditions, PTZ‐Flbased devices retain over 80% efficiency after 1000 hours, demonstrating superior stability and scalability compared to spiro‐OMeTAD for next ...

Thermal Performance of Dwellings with Rooftop PV Panels and PV/Thermal Collectors [PDF]
To improve the energy efficiency of dwellings, rooftop photovoltaic (PV) technology is proposed in contemporary designs; however, adopting this technology will add a new component to the roof that may affect its thermal balance. This paper studies the effect of roof shading developed by solar PV panels on dwellings’ thermal performance. The analysis in

Energetic Offset in Organic Solar Cells‐ Importance, Confusion and Outlook
Energetic offsets in organic solar cells (OSCs) remain a subject of debate due to measurement‐ and lab‐dependent discrepancies. This Perspective clarifies the physical origins of these variations and identifies temperature‐dependent electro‐optical methods as a reliable approach to obtain consistent offset values.

PV Balancer --Concept, Architectures and Realization
This thesis presents a new concept of module-integrated converters called PV balancers for photovoltaic applications. The proposed concept enables independent maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for each panel, and dramatically decreases the requirements

Lattice‐Matched 2D Template Enables Efficient Cesium Tin Halide Perovskite Solar Cells
Lattice‐matched 2D perovskite PEA2CsSn2I7 templates the out‐of‐plane growth of inorganic 3D γ‐CsSnI3 along the (110) plane, forming highly oriented 2D/3D tin halide perovskite heterostructures. With reduced trap states and mitigated δ‐phase impurities, the CsSnI3‐based solar cells achieve a power conversion efficiency of 15.27% and maintain stable ...
