Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Current performance and future development paths of transparent PV glazing in a multi-domain perspective [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Transparent PV (TPV) layers allow solar energy exploitation across the thermal, daylighting, and energy conversion domains. However, the current power conversion efficiency (PCE) and visible transmittance (VT) features of such systems may hinder the ...

Fuzzy Logic-based Integrated Cooling System to Improve PV Efficiency

open access: yesAndalasian International Journal of Applied Science, Engineering, and Technology, 2023
Photovoltaic (PV) temperature is an important parameter that can influence PV performance. The increase in PV temperature can cause a drop in PV output voltage, which indicates that the PV does not operate optimally.
