PVDF Transducers

2003
It is very important in modern application of ultrasound to reach the desired sound pressure field in some space. Also we want to measure the field in the same space very precise. Thus, basics properties of elecroacoustic transducers with polyvinilden fluoride (PVDF) are described.

PVDF ultrasonic transducers

Ferroelectrics, 1987
Designers of ultrasonic transducers should consider piezoelectric polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) films as transducer material, if broad bandwidths or focusing action are required for transducers operating in liquid couplants. By using simple bonding techniques, transducers operating in the range 1-100 MHz with plane and curved surfaces can easily be ...

HBPE-g-PVDF/PVDF blend nanofiltration membrane: preparation and characterization

Journal of the Iranian Chemical Society, 2016
Hyperbranched polyester-grafted poly(vinylidene fluoride) (HBPE-g-PVDF) was synthesized and used as additive in preparation of PVDF blend membranes. HBPE-g-PVDF copolymer was characterized with FTIR and TGA techniques. The prepared membranes were also characterized with SEM, AFM and contact angle measurement.

Fabrication and properties of PVDF and PVDF‐HFP microfiltration membranes

Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 2018
ABSTRACTPoly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and poly(vinylidene fluoride)‐co‐hexafluoropropylene (PVDF‐HFP) were used to fabricate porous microfiltration membranes via a thermally induced phase separation (TIPS) method, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) was used as diluent. The effects of polymer concentration on structure and performance were studied in detail.

PVDF piezoelectric polymer

Sensor Review, 2001
PVDF piezo polymers are new, valuable materials for sensing and actuating applications. These materials are strong candidates for new sensors that cannot be realised with piezoceramics or single crystals. The combination of the mechanical properties of a plastic material with those of a piezoelectric material led to new sensors and transducers whose ...

PVDF - anturit ultraäänitestauksessa

1988
Molempien rakennettujen antureiden pulssinpituudet olivat noin kaksi kertaa aallonpituus.
