PVTx Properties of a Two-phase CO2 Jet from Ruptured Pipeline [PDF]
AbstractSpan and Wagner equation of state (SW EOS) have been used to investigate changes in the thermodynamic properties of CO2 during a depressurization process from a pipeline into marine environment. The process is assumed to be isenthalpic, as only the thermodynamic change at the moment of depressurization is considered.

Progresses in Fluid Inclusion Synthesis in Quartz
High‐temperature and high‐pressure (HTHP) fluids are one of the most extensive participants in geological events. The representative in situ sampling of the HTHP fluids, which is an essential prerequisite for precisely characterizing the HTHP fluids (including compositional and volumetric properties), has been a vital challenge.

A novel density model for computing quartz solubility in H2O‐CO2‐NaCl hydrothermal fluids applicable to wide ranges of temperature and pressure is proposed. Based on the models of Akinfiev and Diamond (2009) and Wei et al. (2012), the effective partial molar volume of water (VH2O∗) is replaced by the partial molar volume of water (V¯H2O) by ...

pvTx properties for carbon dioxide (CO2)/difluoromethane (R32)/1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (R134a) ternary mixture measured in the compressed liquid, superheated vapour, and two-phase regions [PDF]
In low-temperature refrigeration applications, mixtures containing carbon dioxide and refrigerants with low triple points are considered potential substitutes for the refrigerant R23, characterised by a very high global warming potential.

Analysis of PVTx measurements for binary mixtures of R115 and R114 [PDF]
We have made PVTξ measurements of R115 and R114 at temperatures from 296 to 443 K, pressures from 0.4 to 9.8 MPa, and densities from 153 to 1387 kg·m−3, for four compositions, namely, 25, 50, 75, and 100 wt% R115. The data were obtained along isochores.

Measurements of PVTx Properties of HFC-32/HFC-125 and HFC-32/HFC-125 HFC-134a [PDF]
application/pdfThe PVTx properties for the binary mixtures of HFC-32/HFC-125 and HFC-32/ HFC-125 /HFC-134a were measured with the use of a constant volume apparatus in the range of temperatures from 320 K to 450 K and pressures up to 16 MPa along the ...
