PWM Inverter Control by System Control Theory
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1990Abstract Systematical design method of pulse patterns of PWM(Pulse Width Modurated) inverter is proposed in this paper on the basis of system control theory. Merits of the design by means of system control theory are as follows: (1) Pulse patterns are designed in consideration of the load conditions and then, optimal pulse patterns are designed for ...

Neural networks controlled PWM inverters
Proceedings of Power and Energy Systems in Converging Markets, 2002A high performance PWM inverter using neural networks controller is presented in this paper. Owing to the learning ability and robust capability of neural networks, the switching pattern of the PWM inverter can be optimized under the linear and nonlinear load conditions. Thus, a high quality and low harmonics sinusoidal output voltage is expected to be

Energy Efficient PWM Controllers
SAE Technical Paper Series, 1996<div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper describes the development of two integrated circuits (ICs) designed to provide pulse width modulation (PWM) control of direct current permanent magnet (DCPM) motors such as those used in automotive vehicles. One of the ICs is for low side driving of the load.

Novel PWM-controlled resonant converter
Proceedings of Intelec'96 - International Telecommunications Energy Conference, 1996A novel PWM-controlled resonant converter is proposed. The combination of a resonant converter and an active-clamp circuit makes it possible to control the output voltage of the resonant converter by PWM method. The good controllability and other characteristics of this new resonant converter are analyzed, and are confirmed experimentally.

PWM Three-Level Inverter Control
2006 IEEE International Conference on Automation, Quality and Testing, Robotics, 2006This paper analyses a PWM control circuit for a three-level three-phase inverter. The power circuit of inverter and the PWM control principles, using a mirror triangular waveform, are explained. The output voltages of the inverter are represented by 21 Park vectors, from which 3 vectors are null.

SPICE modelling of PWM controllers
VIII IEEE International Power Electronics Congress, 2002. Technical Proceedings. CIEP 2002., 2003In the paper the problem of electrothermal modelling of PWM controllers for SPICE is considered. SPICE library macromodel and a new form of the authors' electrothermal macromodel of SG3525A controller are presented. To illustrate the correctness and usefulness of these macromodels, some results of measurements and calculations of SG3525A controller ...

In this article, a mixed-mode (MM) PWM controller for dc–dc power converter topologies is presented and analysed. Compared to the conventional peak current-mode (PCM) controller, the proposed controller exhibits better results in terms of robustness towards load and reference voltage variations while maintaining better dynamic response.
