Repetitive controlled three-phase reversible PWM rectifier

Proceedings of the 2000 American Control Conference. ACC (IEEE Cat. No.00CH36334), 2000
In this paper, a repetitive current control scheme for three-phase reversible PWM rectifier is proposed. The proposed control scheme is of typical dual-loop structure: inner AC current loop with plug-in repetitive plus feedback deadbeat controller, and outer DC voltage loop with PI controller.

Sensorless control of 3-Phase PWM rectifier

31st Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2005. IECON 2005., 2005
This paper presents a simple sensorless voltage oriented control strategy for PWM rectifier and a phase voltage tracking method is presented. The experimental tests show the advantages of the proposed phase tracking method. The control method is applicable to PWM drive converters without hardware changes whether they use space vector modulation method ...

Sensorless PWM rectifiers with active filter action

2015 IEEE 24th International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), 2015
This paper presents experimental results of a sensorless control strategy for PWM rectifiers with active filtering function. The proposed technique, already presented for PWM rectifiers, has the capability to reject harmonic components from the grid, and can be employed for harmonic mitigation of shunt connected load. The mitigation of harmonics of the

m-Mode SVPWM for PWM Rectifier

2019
The previous chapters have discussed the application of m-mode SVPWM in different types of inverters. In fact, m-mode SVPWM is also applicable to other converters that adopt PWM strategy. In this chapter, m-mode SVPWM is extended to voltage-source PWM rectifier.

A single-phase controlled-current PWM rectifier

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 1988
The analysis and test results are given for an experimental single-phase controlled-current PWM (pulse-width-modulated) rectifier that operates at unity power factor with near sinusoidal current waveform and that has power reversal capability. The twice-line-frequency AC power is identified as a source of voltage harmonics in the DC link. The harmonics

Analysis of PWM rectifier with compensation capability

(ICEEE). 1st International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2004., 2005
This work presents a study of a 3-phase PWM Rectifier (FWM-VSR) with compensation capability under DQ frame. The proposed scheme has capabilities of PWM-VSR, power factor corrector and Active Power Filter (APF), all functions at the same time. Analysis and simulations of the scheme are presented; the analysis was realized determining the apparent power

A discrete current control for PWM rectifier

Proceedings of the IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics, 2005. ISIE 2005., 2005
Applications of PWM rectifiers are very promising, since they are able to supply DC power while keeping a sinusoidal current with unity in the fundamental power factor simultaneously. Another important application for PWM rectifiers is as static VAR compensators, where they supply reactive power to compensate inductive loads connected on grid.

PWM regenerative rectifiers: state of the art

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2005
New regulations impose more stringent limits on current harmonics injected by power converters that are achieved with pulsewidth-modulated (PWM) rectifiers. In addition, several applications demand the capability of power regeneration to the power supply. This work presents the state of the art in the field of regenerative rectifiers with reduced input

PWM control techniques in current source rectifiers

Proceedings of IECON '93 - 19th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics, 2002
Force commutated current source rectifiers are mostly controlled using PWM patterns generated offline. This procedure simplifies the inclusion of special requirements associated with unidirectional power switches. This paper shows that online techniques developed for voltage source inverters can be readily adapted to current source rectifiers, thus ...

A Novel Control Strategy of PWM Rectifier

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
Based on the mathematical model analysis of the three-phase voltage source PWM rectifier under abc reference frame and dq reference frame in this paper, a kind of three-phase voltage source PWM rectifier feed-forward decoupling control strategy is proposed.
