Considerations in the control of PWR-type multimodular reactor plants
IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1994Issues in the control of PWR-type multimodular reactor plants are discussed with emphasis on the need for operation under conditions of unbalanced loads, operating strategies for both single- and multireactor systems, and the coordinated adjustment of power and temperature.

An Adaptive Gain Scheduled PID Controller for PWR type of Nuclear Reactor
2017 International Conference on Innovations in Control, Communication and Information Systems (ICICCI), 2017In this paper a strategy for an adaptive gain scheduled PID controller is proposed for PWR type of Nuclear reactor. Nuclear reactors are highly nonlinear in nature. The proportion of Pressurized Water Reactor is beyond 60% of the total Nuclear reactor components, since PWRs are the most desirable reactors for producing nuclear power.

In order to provide scientific basis for new reactor design in terms of optimal Flow Diffuser, a study was launched on the analysis and investigation on flow distribution of existing flow diffuser design of five different reactors including EPR, VVER, Konvoi, APR+ and Westinghouse. The strategy is to change each time only the flow diffuser within the 1/
