Probabilitas Mineral Pasir Besi Titan Yogyakarta Berdasarkan Studi pXRF

The local paleoenvironment of Kalavan‐2 based on small‐vertebrate remains and its implications for human‐environment‐dynamics between 60 and 35 ka in the Armenian Highlands

open access: yesJournal of Quaternary Science, Volume 41, Issue 1, Page 153-177, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Kalavan‐2, a high‐altitude (∼1640 m a.s.l.) open‐air site in Armenia, preserves stratified Middle Paleolithic occupations with a rich small‐vertebrate record. Luminescence dating has placed site formation between ~60 and 45 ka, but without independent chronological control of the microvertebrate accumulation.

Heavy Metal Contamination in Chocolates and Candies: Sources, Health Risks, and Analytical Insights

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The presence of heavy metals in chocolates and candies poses growing public health concerns, particularly for children who are frequent consumers. This review consolidates evidence on the occurrence, sources, toxicological impacts, and analytical monitoring of metals, including Pb, Cd, Hg, As, Cr, Ni, and Al, in confectionery products.

Thermal properties of orogenic flysch and schist, Rakaia Terrane, Torlesse Composite Terrane, New Zealand

open access: yesNew Zealand Journal of Geology and Geophysics, Volume 68, Issue 4, Page 831-847, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Voluminous, deformed, and variably metamorphosed argillite and greywacke sediments (flysch) are common orogenic rock types. Knowledge of their physical properties is required to make tectonic and geothermal models of modern and ancient plate boundaries.

Foliar Elemental Analysis of Brazilian Crops via Portable X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry

open access: yesSensors, 2020
Foliar analysis is very important for the nutritional management of crops and as a supplemental parameter for soil fertilizer recommendation. The elemental composition of plants is traditionally obtained by laboratory-based methods after acid digestion ...

Comment on: 'Stonehenge revisited: A geochemical approach to interpreting the geographical source of sarsen stone #58'

open access: yesArchaeometry, Volume 67, Issue 6, Page 1423-1436, December 2025.
Abstract In a recent paper in this journal (Hancock et al. (2024) Stonehenge revisited: A geochemical approach to interpreting the geographical source of sarsen stone #58. Archaeometry https://www.doi.org/10.1111/arcm.12999), Hancock and colleagues present a reanalysis of the geochemical dataset used to identify the likely source for the majority of ...

Investigation by pXRF of Caltagirone Pottery Samples Produced in Laboratory

open access: yesOpen Archaeology, 2017
In the study of archaeological ceramics, it is important to have compositional data to identify their origin and source. The fabric also provides useful information on the production technology, especially with regard to the firing steps.

Geoarchaeology in the Absence of Layers: Large‐Scale Sampling From an Iron Age Urban Context in the Southern Levant

open access: yesGeoarchaeology, Volume 40, Issue 6, November/December 2025.
ABSTRACT Understanding the impact of erosion and postdepositional processes is essential for reconstructing site formation in ancient tells. At Tel1 Burna, a multiperiod stratified site in the Shephelah region of central Israel, we integrate portable X‐ray fluorescence (pXRF), portable optically stimulated luminescence (pOSL), and organic residue ...
