Multistate Sensitivity Monitoring of Fusarium virguliforme to the SDHI Fungicides Fluopyram and Pydiflumetofen in the United States

Plant Disease
Sudden death syndrome (SDS), caused by Fusarium virguliforme, is an important yield-limiting disease of soybean (Glycine max). From 1996 to 2022, cumulative yield losses attributed to SDS in North America totaled over 25 million metric tons, which was valued at over US $7.8 billion.

Various amino acid substitutions in succinate dehydrogenase complex regulating differential resistance to pydiflumetofen in Magnaporthe oryzae

Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology
Rice blast, caused by Magnaporthe oryzae, is a devastating fungal disease worldwide. Pydiflumetofen (Pyd) is a new succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI) that exhibited anti-fungal activity against M. oryzae. However, control of rice blast by Pyd and risk of resistance to Pyd are not well studied in this pathogen.
