New data on the Lepidoptera of Azerbaijan (Southern Transcaucasia). Superfamily Pyraloidea Latreille, 1809

We present the faunal list of Pyraloidea (Lepidoptera) of Azerbaijan, including 222 species of 114 genera, belonging to two families. Forty eight species of Pyraloidea Moths are reported for Azerbaijan for the first time.

The systematic placement of the South African Apoprogones hesperistis Hampson and southern South American Ona australis gen. et sp. n. has been controversial. Based on mitogenomes, phylogenomic data and morphological evidence, we classify both taxa to the moth family Apoprogonidae stat. rev., whose members lack abdominal hearing organs.

Prvi popis vrsta Pyraloidea Hrvatske objavljen 2019. godine broji 362 vrste. Privremeni popis i bibliografija Pyraloidea Balkanskog poluotoka objavljeni su 2018. godine, no zbog nezgodnog vremenskog preklapanja nije uzeta u obzir pri izradi prvog popisa. Ovaj rad donosi nove podatke o 16 dodatnih vrsta iz spomenute publikacije.

New Species for the Fauna of Turkey with description of genitalia of Acrobasis farsella Amsel, 1950 (Lepidoptera: Pyraloidea)

Agriphila cyrenaicella Ragonot, 1887 and Acrobasis farsella Amsel, 1950 are new records for the Pyraloidea fauna of Turkey. While the male genitalia of A. farsella are redescribed, the female genitalia are described for the first time.
