Rapid RASER MRI [PDF]

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Volume 65, Issue 10, 2 March 2026.
Rapid RASER MRI allows for image acquisition without RF excitation. Instead, a population inversion on the nuclear spins is generated by SABRE hyperpolarization, which allows for self‐excitation through the RASER approach. When the desired transverse magnetization is built‐up, conventional EPI encoding is triggered to record the image.

Molecular structures and in Silico molecular docking of new pyrazine-based heterocycles as antibacterial agents [PDF]

open access: yesBMC Chemistry
Compound 2-(2-cyanoacetamido)pyrazine (3) serves as a key precursor for synthesizing various new pyrazine-linked heterocycles, including pyridine, thiazole, pyrazole, chromene, and pyrazolotriazine derivatives.

Diisopropyl pyrazine-2,5-dicarboxylate [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2010
The mol-ecule of the title compound, C(12)H(16)N(2)O(4), is located on an inversion center. The carboxyl-ate groups are twisted slightly with respect to the pyrazine ring, making a dihedral angle of 6.4 (3)°.

A Theoretical Study on the Photochemical Isomerization of 2,6-Dimethylpyrazine

open access: yesOrganics, 2022
DFT calculations on the photoisomerization of 2,6-dimethylpyrazine allowed us to confirm the role of benzvalene isomers in the isomerization of hexatomic heterocyclic compounds. 2,6-Dimethylpyrazine in the excited singlet states can be converted into the

Pyrazine-2(1H)-thione [PDF]

open access: yesIUCrData, 2021
The title compound, C4H4N2S, was obtained by the reduction of 2-mercaptopyrazine (during its crystallization with 2-mercaptopyrazine and isonicotinic acid N-oxide in ethanol solution. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/m. In the crystal, the molecules are linked by N—H...N and C—H...S hydrogen bonds.

Pyrazine analogues are active components of wolf urine that induce avoidance and fear-related behaviors in deer

open access: yesFrontiers in Behavioral Neuroscience, 2014
Our previous studies indicated that a cocktail of pyrazine analogues, identified in wolf urine, induced avoidance and fear behaviors in mice. The effects of the pyrazine cocktail on Hokkaido deer (Cervus nippon yesoensis) were investigated in field ...

Volatile Organic Compounds From Lysobacter capsici AZ78 as Potential Candidates for Biological Control of Soilborne Plant Pathogens

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2020
The genus Lysobacter includes several bacterial species which show potential for being used in biological control of plant diseases. It was shown recently that several Lysobacter type strains produce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) which controlled the

Tight-Binding Approach to Pyrazine-Mediated Superexchange in Copper–Pyrazine Antiferromagnets [PDF]

open access: yesInorganic Chemistry, 2021
We investigate the cause of spatial superexchange anisotropy in a family of copper-based, quasi-two-dimensional materials with very similar geometries. The compounds in this family differ mainly in their inter-layer separation but they have very different magnetic interactions, even within the basal plane.
