Synthesis and Optical Properties of a Series of Push-Pull Dyes Based on Pyrene as the Electron Donor
Fifteen push-pull dyes comprising the tetracyclic polyaromatic pyrene have been designed and synthesized. The optical properties of the fifteen dyes have been examined in twenty-two solvents of different polarities.
