The Jekyll and Hyde Nature of Tetrazoles in Polymer Science: From Intrinsic Electronic Duality to Programmable Macromolecular Function

Tetrazoles are reframed as substitution‐programmable heterocycles rather than static functional groups in polymer chemistry. By linking electronic identity to synthetic strategy and polymer architecture, this mini‐review establishes a design framework for translating tetrazole duality into predictable macromolecular function.

Enhanced Circularly Polarised Luminescence via Intramolecular Excimers in Chiral Bis‐Naphthalene‐1,8:4,5‐Tetracarboxydiimide Derivatives

Bis‐naphthalene‐1,8:4,5‐tetracarboxydiimide derivatives with a chiral lysine backbone were synthesised. They exhibited intramolecular excimer fluorescence in polar organic solvents and improved circularly polarised luminescence brightness BCPL (12 M−1 cm−1).

Donor–Acceptor Solid Molecular Catalysts for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Peroxide Production

Organic terpyridine‐based donor–acceptor photocatalysts: Solid molecular catalysts enable efficient hydrogen peroxide synthesis from water and ambient oxygen under visible light. Systematic variation of donor and acceptor moieties, combined with optoelectrical characterization, allows structure–activity relationships to be derived.
