Late‐Stage Functionalization of Peptides on the Solid Phase

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Peptide modifications are essential to control pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties of peptide drugs. Consequently, strategies that allow for efficient and rapid incorporation of non‐canonical modifications into peptides in parallel formats are highly sought after.

Amination of Phenols and Halophenols via Pyridinium–Iridium Dual Photocatalysis

open access: yes
In this study, we present a photochemical method for the amination of phenols (C–H) and halophenols (SNAr), facilitated by dual catalytic pathways involving both Ir(III) photocatalysis and phenol–pyridinium EDA complexation. By incorporating a pyridinium

Domain Structure and Birefringence in Pyridinium Perchlorate and Pyridinium Fluoroborate Single Crystal

open access: yes, 2004
Pyridinium perchlorate and pyridinium fluoroborate were grown and their successive phase transitions were studied by means of polarized microscopic observations and measurements of linear birefringence temperature changes.

Quaternary Pyridinium Salts: A Review

open access: yesJournal of Oleo Science, 2008
Cationic surfactants are being used in various applications industrially and domestically for a long time. Pyridinium salts come under the category of cationic surfactants. These are unsaturated heterocyclic compounds having different functional groups present either on pyridine ring or at nitrogen atom.

Crystal structure and thermal behaviour of pyridinium styphnate

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications, 2015
In the crystal structure of the title molecular salt, C5H6N+·C6H2N3O8− (systematic name: pyridinium 3-hydroxy-2,4,6-trinitrophenolate), the pyridinium cation and the 3-hydroxy-2,4,6-trinitrophenolate anion are linked through bifurcated N—H...(O,O ...

Pyridinium methylsulfonate: a pseudosymmetric structure

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2001
The title compound, C5H6N+·CH3SO3−, shows pseudosymmetry. More than 80% of the structure is centrosymmetric, whereas the remaining atoms do not fulfil this symmetry, and the structure is actually non-centrosymmetric.

Valorization of oat hulls and spent coffee grounds into pyridinium-modified granular adsorbents for water purification

open access: yesSustainability Science and Technology
Agro- and food-waste biomass such as oat hull (Oh) or spent coffee ground (SCG) biomass can yield sustainable adsorbents for water treatment. However, adsorbents in powdered form often face constraints in practical applications (column applications due ...
