Comparison between dielectric and pyroelectric properties of PZFNT and BST type ceramics [PDF]
Ba0.75Sr0.25TiO3 (BST) and PbZr0.68Fe0.14Nb0.14Ti0.04O3 (PZFNT) ceramic pellets were obtained by ceramic technology and their structural, ferroelectric and pyroelectric properties were investigated.

Pyroelectric and photovoltaic properties of Nb-doped PZT thin films
Nb-doped lead zirconate titanate (PZT) films with up to 12 at. % of Nb were co-sputtered from oxide PZT and metallic Nb targets at a substrate temperature of 600 °C. Up to 4 at. % of Nb was doped into the perovskite structure with the formation of B-site

Carbon-based sprayed electrodes for pyroelectric applications.
A carbon-based layer was deposited by spraying on top of a ferroelectric layer grown by sol-gel on Si (001) substrate and its properties as electrode and absorber for pyroelectric detection were tested.

Pyroliton: pyroelectric spatial soliton
The concept of optical beam self-trapping in pyroelectric photorefractive medium is presented. We show that the temperature controlled spontaneous polarisation of ferroelectric crystals produces an optical nonlinearity that can lead to formation of 2-D spatial soliton named pyroliton.

Biocompatible Magnetopyroelectric Composite Films for Cell Stimulation
Magnetopyroelectric films couple Fe3O4 nanoparticles with pyroelectric P(VDF‐TrFE) to turn alternating magnetic fields into controlled heat and pyroelectric currents. This heavy‐metal free platform safely boosts neural progenitor cells differentiation via synergistic thermal and pyroelectrical cues, engages AKT and calcium pathways, and opens practical

This work demonstrates a phase‐engineered MoS2 photodetector that dynamically switches among photocapacitive (PCC), photovoltaic (PV), and photoconductive (PC) modes. By transforming the traditionally parasitic capacitance into an active signal source, the device achieves self‐powered, high‐sensitivity detection with a fast response of 19.2 ms, and a ...

2D van der Waals (vdW) materials MM′Te2 with broken symmetry attract great interest for unique magnetic structures and optical‐phonon‐induced phase transitions. We report mechanically exfoliable TaFeTe2 single crystals, exhibiting spin‐glass behavior, intrinsic unsaturated negative magnetoresistance up to 9 T, self‐powered internal photocurrent, and ...

Ferroelectric polarization flop in a frustrated magnet MnWO$_4$ induced by magnetic fields
The relationship between magnetic order and ferroelectric properties has been investigated for MnWO$_4$ with long-wavelength magnetic structure. Spontaneous electric polarization is observed in an elliptical spiral spin phase.
