Co-pyrolysis of rubberwood sawdust (RWS) and polypropylene (PP) in a fixed bed pyrolyzer
Co-pyrolysis of rubberwood sawdust (RWS) waste and polypropylene (PP) was carried out at different temperatures (450,500,550, and 600°C) with biomass to plastics ratio 1:1 by using fixed bed drop-type pyrolyzer.

Amino acid precursors from a simulated lower atmosphere of Titan: Experiments of cosmic ray energy source with 13 C- and 18 O-stable isotope probing mass spectrometry [PDF]
The organic haze of aerosols that shrouds the Saturnian moon Titan has previously been studied by both observations and laboratory simulation experiments. Here we report the abiotic formation of amino acid precursors in complex organic molecules during experimental simulation of the environment near Titan's surface with proton irradiation. Pyrolysis of

Pyrolysis and co-pyrolysis of lignite and plastic
Abstract The study firstly discusses the pyrolysis characteristics and kinetics by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and then investigates the pyrolysis of lignite and co-pyrolysis with plastic (polyethylene or polypropylene) in tube furnace. Meanwhile, the research focuses on the co-pyrolysis products under different mixing ratios as well as ...

Print‐and‐Plate Architected Electrodes for Electrochemical Transformations Under Flow
Typical flow cell electrodes are composed of stochastic porous carbon, limiting understanding of electrode structure‐performance relationships. This work describes an approach, termed “print‐and‐plate,” to prepare porous electrodes by direct ink writing followed by conformal metal coating.

Closed‐Loop Recyclable High‐Performance Aerogels Derived from Polystyrene
Upcycling of commercial polystyrene waste into closed‐loop recyclable high‐performance aerogels is presented. These PSAs are made from aminated PS waste using a dialdehyde crosslinker. The PSAs are highly porous, thermally superinsulating, and intrinsically hydrophobic.

Highlighting the importance of anode microstructure for alkaline OER, ultrasonic spray coating is applied at two different temperatures. This proof‐of‐concept approach yielded varied morphologies, structures, wettability and mechanical strength. These variations led to noticeable performance changes in activity after 8 h of measurements, comparing the ...
