Heterogeneous Nanopore Arrays – Selective Modification of Nanopores Embedded in a Membrane
Biological processes rely on the concerted action of channels with different functionalities embedded in the same membrane. Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) of unconventional composition and defined structures are investigated as small oligonucleotide carriers. A composition is identified that outperforms Onpattro in cargo delivery to HeLa cells. The structure of these LNPs resembles a micellar cubic phase not commonly associated with high‐performing LNPs.
