Comparison Of Python (An Open Source Programming Language) With Other Programming Languages

open access: yes, 2018
Language is a communication tool through which we can communicate with each other like Hindi, English etc any other language. So if we want to communicate with computer, we need computer programming languages. So in computer we have two types of languages, one is low level language which is easily understood by computer but difficult to learn.

A Critical Assessment of Bonding Descriptors for Predicting Materials Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The impact of new bonding descriptors in machine learning models for predicting material properties is assessed. Improvements are validated using significance tests, and new, intuitive descriptors for screening lattice thermal conductivity and projected force constants are introduced.

Comparative analysis of PYTHON with other programming languages

open access: yesYearbook Telecommunications, 2019
The goal of this paper is to present a set of criteria for comparison of program languages and give arguments for their selection. With their help The Python language is compared with its competitors for different applications. As a result a methodology for the selection of a program language is developed, based on multi-criteria analysis.

Spatially Informed Feature Selection and Machine Learning in Matrix‐Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Imaging for Cohort‐Scale Molecular Tissue Phenomics in Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization imaging‐based identification of reliable small molecule markers across heterogeneous glioblastoma cohorts is challenging with intensity‐only methods. We present spatially informed feature selection (SIFS), a spatially informed framework that prioritizes molecules consistently colocalizing with histopathology.

Optimizing 3D Bin Packing of Heterogeneous Objects Using Continuous Transformations in SE(3)

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This article presents a method for solving the three‐dimensional bin packing problem for heterogeneous objects using continuous rigid‐body transformations in SE(3). A heuristic optimization framework combines signed‐distance functions, neural network approximations, point‐cloud bin modeling, and physics simulation to ensure feasibility and stability ...

Approaching the largest ‘API’: extracting information from the Internet with Python

open access: yesCode4Lib Journal, 2018
This article explores the need for libraries to algorithmically access and manipulate the world’s largest API: the Internet. The billions of pages on the ‘Internet API’ (HTTP, HTML, CSS, XPath, DOM, etc.) are easily accessible and manipulable. Libraries

Input Sparsity‐Aware Computing‐In‐Memory with Bidirectional Conversion‐Skippable Analog‐to‐Digital Converter

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This article introduces an input sparsity‐aware computing‐in‐memory macro featuring novel bidirectional conversion‐skippable analog‐to‐digital converters. By dynamically adjusting resolution based on element‐level sparsity, the architecture skips redundant most significant bit and least significant bit conversions.
