Modified $ q$-Bessel functions and $ q$-Macdonald functions
Sbornik: Mathematics, 1996Summary: The \(q\)-analogues of modified Bessel functions and Macdonald functions are defined in this paper. As in the case of \(q\)-Bessel functions introduced by Jackson, there are two kinds of these functions. Like their classical prototypes, they arise in harmonic analysis on quantum symmetric spaces.

The monotony of the q−Bessel functions
Journal of Mathematical Analysis and ApplicationsIn the paper under review the authors present two monotonicity properties for the Jackson and Hahn-Exton \(q\)-Bessel functions by using the method of subordination sequences. The authors follow the ideas of \textit{R. Szász et al.} [Result. Math. 78, No. 4, Paper No. 127, 6 p. (2023; Zbl 1514.33005); Comput. Methods Funct. Theory 24, No.

Combinatorial objects enumerated by q-bessel functions
Reports on Mathematical Physics, 1994The author describes different combinatorial objects enumerated by \(q\)- Bessel functions: skew Ferrers diagrams according to width and area, simple braids according to number of threads and exponent and pairs of permutations according to common descents and inversions. Then he presents different techniques of counting and \(q\)-counting.

Spectral zeta functions for q-Bessel equations
Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1995The theory of quantum billiards deals with the Laplace operator on a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^2\). The associated zeta function can be computed explicitly for some triangular billiards and for the circular billiard; for the circular billiard, the zeta function is given in terms of the positive zeros of a suitable Bessel function.
