Steady‐State and Dynamic Behavior of Geometry‐Tunable Microfluidic Passive Flow Regulators

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Passive microfluidic flow regulators exhibit geometry‐dependent dynamic behavior, where channel width governs the resistance–compliance interactions within the system. Narrow channels produce faster responses with higher bandwidth, while wider channels yield slower responses and stronger attenuation.

q-LAPLACE TRANSFORM FOR PRODUCT OF GENERAL CLASS OF q-POLYNOMIALS AND q-ANALOGUE OF I-FUNCTION [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper, the basic analogue of the Laplace transforms involving the product of a general class of q-polynomials along with q-analogue of Fox's H-function and q-analogue of I-function is evaluated.

Introducing Systems via Laplace Transforms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
The purpose of this note is to show how to move from Laplace Transforms to a brief introduction to two dimensional systems of linear differential equations with only basic matrix ...

A Detailed and Comprehensive Account of Fractional Physics‐Informed Neural Networks: From Implementation to Efficiency

open access: yesArtificial Intelligence for Engineering, EarlyView.
Caputo‐based fPINNs accurately solve fractional ODEs and PDEs while exposing an accuracy–cost trade‐off driven by the history‐dependent fractional derivative. Temporal collocation and shorter time windows are the most effective strategies for improving early‐time accuracy without unnecessary spatial refinement.

Enhancing generalized spectral clustering with embedding Laplacian graph regularization

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract An enhanced generalised spectral clustering framework that addresses the limitations of existing methods by incorporating the Laplacian graph and group effect into a regularisation term is presented. By doing so, the framework significantly enhances discrimination power and proves highly effective in handling noisy data.

Econometric Estimation of Parameters of Preservation of Perishable Goods in Cold Logistic Chains [PDF]

open access: yes
Paper discusses the parameters of preservation of perishable goods in cold logistic chains. The key parameters are the intensity of deterioration of goods, the conservation effect of perishable goods and the delay of activation of the conservation effect.

Integrals using Laplace transforms (MathsCasts) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Shows how to use known Laplace transforms to evaluate infinite integrals involving exponentials in product with other functions. We extend the idea to products of an exponential with another fctn and with t using the derivative of Laplace transform ...

Pricing Path-Dependent Options with Jump Risk via Laplace Transforms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We present analytical solutions for two-dimensional Laplace transforms of barrier option prices, as well as an approximation based on Laplace transforms for the prices of finite-time horizon American options, under a double exponential jump diffusion ...

Cyberattack‐Resilient Fractional‐Order PPI Control for Frequency Regulation in PV‐Integrated Power Systems

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Load‐frequency control (LFC) comprises a primary process in interconnected electrical power systems, playing a critical role in maintaining the stability and reliability of the electrical grid. It is of paramount importance that the designed controller functions in an optimal manner, particularly with regard to the compression of area ...

Distributed k‐WTA Network for Multi‐Manipulator Competition With Experimental Verifications

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this article, a new distributed k $k$‐winner‐take‐all (Dk $k$‐WTA) network is designed and used to construct a dynamic allocation scheme for competitive coordination tasks of multiple manipulators as embodied agents. The scheme is constructed based on the following two aspects. On one hand, with reference to a perspective that the Laplacian
