Line profile of the Q01(1) vibrational resonance in H2 in the zone of dicke narrowing
Optics Communications, 1972Abstract A new method of high resolution non-linear spectroscopy based on the detection of the anti-Stokes intensity arising from a resonant four-photon coherent interaction is applied to the determination of the line profile of the Raman resonance Q 01 (1) in hydrogen gas.

Abstract A new method of nonlinear spectroscopy has been applied to the investigation of the Q 01 (1) (Raman active) transition of the H 2 molecule. The method has been applied to the first direct measurement of the T 2 coherence relaxation time in a gaseous medium, by a coherent Transient Free-induction decay effect.

Q01 Factors Building Pastoralists Resilience to Shocks: Evidence from West Pokot County, Kenya.
2018Most pastoralists households are adversely affected by shocks such as droughts, livestock diseases and declining pasture availability. These shocks lead to deterioration of livestock quality and even mass death of herds. This leaves pastoralists households vulnerable as they derive most of their food and income needs from livestock, necessitating the ...

Abstract The forward scattering process of motional narrowing in hydrogen gas has been investigated by an original method of nl spectroscopy of general application. The method has allowed a detailed study of the dispersion of the nl susceptibility χ(3)(ω) showing an unexpected behavior of χ(3)(ω)' near the Q01 (1) molecular eigenfrequency.
