Perturbative Non-Equilibrium Thermal Field Theory

open access: yes, 2013
We present a new perturbative formulation of non-equilibrium thermal field theory, based upon non-homogeneous free propagators and time-dependent vertices.

Continuous Titration Based Method for Rapid In‐Solution Analysis of Non‐Covalent Interactions

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, Volume 5, Issue 5, May 2025.
This work presents cSPRING, which combines Taylor dispersion with ratiometric fluorescence detection to measure binding affinities (Kd) in a single experiment. This in‐solution method reduces sample preparation time 8‐fold, requires only nanograms of protein, and provides results in under a minute, demonstrating efficiency for screening protein‐small ...

Anytime Control using Input Sequences with Markovian Processor Availability

open access: yes, 2014
We study an anytime control algorithm for situations where the processing resources available for control are time-varying in an a priori unknown fashion. Thus, at times, processing resources are insufficient to calculate control inputs.

Role of Secondary Structure and Time‐Dependent Binding on Disruption of Phthalocyanine Aggregates by Guanine‐Rich Nucleic Acids

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 2, January 9, 2025.
The binding of guanine‐rich nucleic acids to a water‐soluble cationic, regiopure zinc phthalocyanine (1) is reported. In contrast to double‐stranded DNA, guanine systems GpG, (GpG)10, poly(G) and quadruplex DNA effectively disrupt phthalocyanine aggregates to disperse the monomeric state.

Analysis Of Land Use Transformation Potential In Spatial Management

open access: yesReal Estate Management and Valuation, 2015
The current system of spatial planning in Poland does not provide an effective and efficient tool for controlling planning decisions at a level higher than local. The result is an unrealistic approach to adopting development policies.

Type I D-branes in an H-flux and twisted KO-theory

open access: yes, 2003
Witten has argued that charges of Type I D-branes in the presence of an H-flux, take values in twisted KO-theory. We begin with the study of real bundle gerbes and their holonomy.

Estimating Different Value Functions of the Prospect Theory According to Individual Decision‐Making Styles

open access: yesApplied Cognitive Psychology, Volume 39, Issue 1, January/February 2025.
ABSTRACT This study aims to explore human risk tolerance behaviors by applying decision‐making styles, which refer to individual habits or response patterns during decision‐making process. Specifically, this research estimates the sample's prospect theory value function by decision‐making style and statistically tests the difference in coefficients of ...
