Dissimilarities of reduced density matrices and eigenstate thermalization hypothesis

open access: yes, 2017
We calculate various quantities that characterize the dissimilarity of reduced density matrices for a short interval of length $\ell$ in a two-dimensional (2D) large central charge conformal field theory (CFT).

Structural insights into how vacuolar sorting receptor recognizes the C‐terminal sorting determinant of a vicilin‐like seed storage protein

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, Volume 293, Issue 1, Page 257-270, January 2026.
Soluble cargo proteins are sorted to the vacuoles via a receptor‐mediated mechanism. Combining crystallographic and mutagenesis studies, we showed how the C‐terminal sorting determinant (ctVSD) of vicilin‐like seed storage protein VL22 is recognized by the protease‐associated domain of Arabidopsis vacuolar‐sorting receptor 1.

Productivity, moisture and competition—Habitat conditions affecting population viability of the wet grassland orchid Dactylorhiza majalis under conservation‐oriented management

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 62, Issue 4, Page 970-985, April 2025.
Our results suggest that adjusting regular conservation‐oriented management may be beneficial for many wet grassland sites. Observing few but large D. majalis individuals may serve as a warning sign for deteriorating site conditions that can help prioritise conservation efforts to stabilise populations early on.

Ultrathin Screen‐Printed Plant Wearable Capacitive Sensors for Environmental Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, Volume 4, Issue 3, March 2025.
Plant wearable sensors can enable collection of important environmental data to understand plant conditions and aid land management practices. In this report, ultra‐thin (<6 µm), screen‐printed capacitive devices enclosed within layers of ethyl cellulose that can be transferred conformally on to plant tissues and measure relative humidity directly at ...
