Comparative growth analysis of special type of differential polynomial generated by entire and meromorphic functions on the basis of their (p,q)-th order [PDF]
In this paper we aim to establish some results depending on the comparative growth properties of composite transcendental entire or meromorphic functions and some special type of differential polynomials generated by one of the factors on the basis of (p,q)-th order and (p,q)-th lower order where p,q are positive integers with p greater than or equal ...

Mitochondria contain two mitoribosome rescue factors, ICT1 and MTRFR (C12orf65). ICT1 also functions as a mitoribosomal protein in mice and humans, and its loss is lethal. Although Mtrfr knockout mice could not be generated, knockout zebrafish lines for ict1 and mtrfr were established.

Disproving a weaker form of Hooley's conjecture [PDF]
Hooley conjectured that $G(x;q) \ll x\log q$, as soon as $q\to +\infty$, where $G(x;q)$ represents the variance of primes $p \leq x$ in arithmetic progressions modulo $q$, weighted by $\log p$. In this paper, we study $G_\eta(x;q)$, a function similar to $G(x;q)$, but including the weighting factor $\eta\left(\frac{p}{x}\right)$, which has a dampening ...

20 Hz mechanical vibration induced A431 cancer cells' apoptosis without such effect on other healthy cell lines of L929 and C2C12. Lowered glucose consumption is observed specifically in A431. The expressions of ROS, HMGB1, and HSP1 levels initially increase and subsequently decrease in the cancer cell line, as opposed to L929 and C2C12, which ...

Frequency trimming based on mass and stiffness modification is an important post-fabrication process for micro-shell resonators (MSRs). However, the trimming effects on the quality factor are seldom studied, although they may have great influence on the ...

In the blood–testis barrier, occludin is crucial for tight junctions. This study demonstrates that occludin‐targeting short peptides disrupt junction integrity, inducing immune cell infiltration, tumor necrosis factor‐α/interleukin‐6 secretion and mitochondrial dysfunction, ultimately triggering apoptosis.

On the q-Lie group of q-Appell polynomial matrices and related factorizations
Abstract In the spirit of our earlier paper [10] and Zhang and Wang [16],we introduce the matrix of multiplicative q-Appell polynomials of order M ∈ ℤ. This is the representation of the respective q-Appell polynomials in ke-ke basis. Based on the fact that the q-Appell polynomials form a commutative ring [11], we prove that this set ...

Identifying prognostic targets in metastatic prostate cancer beyond AR
Genome‐wide functional screens combined with a large gene expression database and clinical outcomes can identify new therapeutic vulnerabilities in prostate cancer. Eight potentially druggable targets demonstrated strong dependency in cell lines, were associated with worse prognosis clinically, and showed evidence of protein expression in prostate ...
