This paper presents two cases of young children who were treated with simulation‐free radiotherapy. We demonstrate that this workflow is feasible in children requiring palliative radiotherapy with the potential to expedite treatment, reduce procedural burden on the child and their family, and eliminate a general anaesthetic procedure.

Learning in radiation oncology: 12‐month experience with a new incident learning system
Introduction of an incident learning incident (ILS) was shown to have had a positive impact on reporting and safety culture within a local health district (LHD). Survey findings correlate with existing literature that ILSs are effective tools for improving patient safety and departmental safety facilitating quality improvement.

Proposed Diagnostic Reference Levels for Frequently Performed Paediatric Radiographic Examinations
Paediatric diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) are weight‐stratified dose levels for typical medical imaging examinations for broadly defined types of equipment. The 75th percentiles of the FRLs across the nine X‐ray units from five centres in Australia were calculated as the proposed Local DRLs (LDRLs).

This study analyzes the climatology and evaluates how the physical aspects of precipitating systems are influenced by the dry and wet seasons in Northeast Brazil, highlighting seasonal variations in the frequency, size, intensity, and duration of these systems in the regions of Natal, Maceió, Petrolina, and Salvador.
