Falling into the Past: Geodesics in a Time Travel Metric
We investigate timelike and null geodesics within the rotating “time machine” spacetime proposed by Ralph, T.C.; et al. Phys. Rev. D 2020, 102, 124013. This is a rotating analogue of Alcubierre’s warp drive spacetime.

A Systematic Study of Two-Neutrino Double Electron Capture
In this paper, we update the phase-space factors for all two-neutrino double electron capture processes. The Dirac–Hartree–Fock–Slater self-consistent method is employed to describe the bound states of captured electrons, enabling a more realistic ...

Pulsation in Hot Main-Sequence Stars: Comparison of Observations with Models
The locations of hot pulsating variables in the H–R diagram are found using the effective temperatures derived from spectroscopic analysis and luminosities from Gaia parallaxes.

Jet Precession in Gamma-Ray Bursts
Jet precession is thought to be a ubiquitous phenomenon in astronomical events of various scales, including gamma-ray bursts (GRBs). If GRB jets undergo precession, periodic features might be introduced into their light curves.

The Two Alternative Explosion Mechanisms of Core-Collapse Supernovae: 2024 Status Report
In comparing the two alternative explosion mechanisms of core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe), I examine recent three-dimensional (3D) hydrodynamical simulations of CCSNe in the frame of the delayed neutrino explosion mechanism (neutrino mechanism) and argue

Dynamical Systems Analysis of Timelike Geodesics in a Lorentz-Violating Black Hole Spacetime
This paper investigates the global dynamics of timelike geodesics of a spherically symmetric black hole under Lorentz-violating effects governed by parameters λ (scaling exponent) and Υ (Lorentz violation strength).
