STAR Results from the RHIC Beam Energy Scan-I
The Beam Energy Scan (BES) program is being pursued at RHIC to study the QCD phase diagram, and search for the possible QCD phase boundary and possible QCD critical point.

Density of States FFA analysis of SU(3) lattice gauge theory at a finite density of color sources
We present a Density of States calculation with the Functional Fit Approach (DoS FFA) in SU(3) lattice gauge theory with a finite density of static color sources.

Challenges in QCD matter physics --The scientific programme of the Compressed Baryonic Matter experiment at FAIR [PDF]
Substantial experimental and theoretical efforts worldwide are devoted to explore the phase diagram of strongly interacting matter. At LHC and top RHIC energies, QCD matter is studied at very high temperatures and nearly vanishing net-baryon densities ...

Inhomogeneous chiral phase in the magnetic field
Inhomogeneous chiral phase is discussed in the presence of the magnetic field. A topological aspect is pointed out for the complex order parameter, in relation to the spectral asymmetry of the Dirac operator.

Hawking-Page transition in holographic QCD at finite density
We study the confinement/deconfinement transition of QCD matter for a quark-gluon plasma at finite density using AdS/QCD duality. In order to determine the critical temperature and its dependence on the quark chemical potential, the semi-classical ...

In this thesis we study two flavour Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) with the Functional Renormalisation Group (FRG). We compute the QCD phase diagram at imaginary and real chemical potential in the chiral limit. We introduce dual order parameters which originate in the matter sector but are sensitive to center symmetry breaking.

Dual symmetries of dense isotopically and chirally asymmetric QCD
In the present paper, the dual symmetries of dense quark matter phase diagram found in some massless three- and two-color NJL models in the mean field approximation have been shown to exist at a more fundamental level as dual transformations of fields ...
