Optical gas sensor based on the combination of a QD photoluminescent probe and a QD photodetector

open access: yesNanotechnology, 2022
Abstract We report on a sensor architecture for detection of hazardous gases. The proposed device is based on the integration of a solid-state quantum dot (QD) photoluminescent probe with a QD photodetector on the same substrate.

The QD-Index

open access: yes, 2008
Index combination constitutes the most recent development within the scientific field of democratic quality assessment. In the course of this study, a genuine experimental meta-index, notably the QD-Index, is theoretically conceptualized as well as practically operationalized.
