Open source QGIS toolkit for the Advanced Research WRF modelling system [PDF]
The Advanced Research WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model is a popular atmospheric model used for research and Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP). However, despite its popularity, its set-up and configuration often demand several interdisciplinary skills that go beyond the understanding of physical processes.

Boundary scattering in the principal chiral model [PDF]
An informal introduction to our recent work on the principal chiral model with boundary. We found that both classically integrable boundary conditions and quantum boundary S-matrices were classified by the symmetric spaces G/H. The connection is explained by the presence of a twisted Yangian algebra of non-local charges.

Nilpotent classical mechanics: s-geometry [PDF]
We introduce specific type of hyperbolic spaces. It is not a general linear covariant object, but of use in constructing nilpotent systems. In the present work necessary definitions and relevant properties of configuration and phase spaces are indicated. As a working example we use a D=2 isotropic harmonic oscillator.

CityJSON in QGIS: Development of an open‐source plugin [PDF]
AbstractWhen QGIS 3.0 was released in 2018, it added support for 3D visualisation. At the same time, CityJSON has been developing as an easy‐to‐use JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) encoding for 3D city models using the CityGML 2.0 data model. Together, this opened the possibility to support semantic 3D city models in the popular open‐source GIS ...

OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARES AS A TOOL FOR CREATING INTERACTIVE WEB MAPS [PDF]
Modern requirements for spatial information greatly exceed the capabilities of classic analog maps, which is why there was a need to adapt cartography itself to these requirements.
