Integrated Multi‐Omics Analysis Reveals the Genetic Basis of Phenotypic Variation in Tibetan Sheep
SNaPshot‐validated GWAS results demonstrated significant correlations between candidate single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and body size traits in Tibetan sheep. Concurrently, hematoxylin and eosin staining, alongside muscle fiber analysis, confirmed pronounced morphological differences in muscle tissue between sheep of varying conformation.

Candidate genes identified from SNPs, indels, and SVs exhibited limited shared genes, suggesting that diverse variant types capture complementary aspects of the adaptive landscape. Our results underscore the importance of incorporating multiple types of genomic variation to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of evolutionary processes.

This meta‐analysis across China reveals that grassland biomass is primarily driven by human disturbance and precipitation, while biodiversity is more influenced by climate.
