A Novel Carrier Loop Based on Adaptive LM-QN Method in GNSS Receivers
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2022A well-designed carrier tracking loop in a receiver of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is the premise of accurate positioning and navigation in an aircraft-based surveying and mapping system.

Alloy Digest, 1980
Abstract VAN QN (80) is a dual-phase steel with an equivalent yield strength of 80,000 psi and an exceptional combination of strength, formability, weldability, toughness and fatigue resistance. A dual-phase steel is one whose microstructure primarily consists of a mixture of ferrite and martensite or lower bainite.

Queueing Network-Model Human Processor (QN-MHP)
ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction, 2006Queueing Network-Model Human Processor (QN-MHP) is a computational architecture that integrates two complementary approaches to cognitive modeling: the queueing network approach and the symbolic approach (exemplified by the MHP/GOMS family of models, ACT-R, EPIC, and SOAR).

Compositional generation of software architecture performance QN models
Proceedings. Fourth Working IEEE/IFIP Conference on Software Architecture (WICSA 2004), 2004Early performance analysis based on queueing network models (QNM) has been often proposed to support software designers during the software development process. These approaches aim at addressing performance issues as early as possible in order to reduce design failures.

Robust correlation coefficient based on Qn estimator
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2017This paper presents a new robust correlation coefficient called Qn correlation coefficient. This coefficient is developed as an alternative for classical correlation coefficient as the performance of classical correlation coefficient is nasty under contamination data.

QN Inversion of Large-scale MT Data
PIERS Online, 2006A limited memory quasi-Newton (QN) method with simple bounds is applied to a 1-D magnetotel- luric (MT) problem. The method is used to invert a realistic synthetic MT impedance dataset, calculated for a layered earth model. An adjoint method is employed to calculate the gradients and to speed up the inverse problem solution.

A quasi-elastic neutron scattering (QNS) study
Philosophical Magazine A, 1987Abstract Quasi-elastic line broadening of neutrons scattered from 2at.%Co alloyed in β-Zr shows that at about 1100°C all Co atoms, not merely a small fraction, participate in fast diffusion of Co in Zr within a time interval of 10−9s. In the measured temperature range of 950 to 1380°C the deduced jump frequency is about 20 times faster than that of Zr ...
