This paper describes the architecture and implementation of a high performance QR decomposition IEEE754 single precision floating point core, using a modified Gram-Schmidt algorithm. Using Intel's new floating point Arria 10 FPGAs, synthesis is used to generate column high functional units, giving O(n2) processing times.

Signal Processing, 1991The author provides a state-of-the-art survey of a recently discovered set of generalizations of the ordinary singular value decomposition, which contains all existing generalizations for two and three matrices as special cases. He presents the main theorem and discusses structural properties of these generalized singular value decompositions.

The structure is derivedusing methodof mapping regular algorithms using affine transformations of the algorithm graph.
