A Man With Two Pacemakers: The Mystery of the Electrocardiogram

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 4, April 2025.
ABSTRACT Our findings reported a confusing but interesting clinical practice. In our study, three spike signals are observed during stable pacing periods, with fixed spikes occurring during the AV delay at 180 ms intervals, excluding other operation types such as CRT and His bundle pacing.

Wolff‐Parkinson‐White Mimicking Posterior STEMI: When Even AI Gets It Wrong

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 4, April 2025.
ABSTRACT Wolff‐Parkinson‐White (WPW) can mimic ischemic ECG patterns, leading to potential misdiagnosis of acute coronary syndromes. This case highlights the importance of integrating clinical evaluation, echocardiography, and troponin testing with AI‐assisted ECG analysis to accurately differentiate pre‐excitation from true ischemia and avoid ...

Draining Large Pericardial Effusion in a Pulmonary Hypertension Patient: Between a Rock and a Hard Place

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 4, April 2025.
ABSTRACT Managing pericardial effusion in autoimmune diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus becomes particularly challenging when accompanied by pulmonary hypertension (PH). The risk of acute right ventricular overload and hemodynamic collapse makes pericardial drainage a high‐stakes decision.
