Rank-structured QR for Chebyshev rootfinding [PDF]
We consider the computation of roots of polynomials expressed in the Chebyshev basis. We extend the QR iteration presented in [Eidelman, Y., Gemignani, L., and Gohberg, I., Numer. Algorithms, 47.3 (2008): pp. 253-273] introducing an aggressive early deflation strategy, and showing that the rank-structure allows to parallelize the algorithm avoiding ...

A method for context-based adaptive QRS clustering in real-time [PDF]
Continuous follow-up of heart condition through long-term electrocardiogram monitoring is an invaluable tool for diagnosing some cardiac arrhythmias. In such context, providing tools for fast locating alterations of normal conduction patterns is mandatory and still remains an open issue. This work presents a real-time method for adaptive clustering QRS

Regarding cardiovascular effects, DMH decreased vascular reactivity to phenylephrine and acetylcholine. We observed that the combination of DPH and 8‐Cl‐T was identified as the responsible for increasing blood pressure and heart rate in the biological model used.

Discrete Wavelet Transform Based Algorithm for Recognition of QRS Complexes [PDF]
This paper proposes the application of Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) to detect the QRS (ECG is characterized by a recurrent wave sequence of P, QRS and T-wave) of an electrocardiogram (ECG) signal. Wavelet Transform provides localization in both time and frequency.

Application of the Hidden Markov Model for determining PQRST complexes in electrocardiograms [PDF]
The application of the hidden Markov model with various parameters in the segmentation task of QRS, ST, T, P, PQ, ISO complexes of electrocardiograms is considered. Models were trained using the Viterbi algorithm using the QT Database. For comparison, the Pan-Tompkins algorithm for searching for the duration of QRS complexes was modified.

Inter‐atrial block as a predictor of adverse outcomes in patients with HFpEF
Abstract Aims Inter‐atrial block (IAB), a marker of electrical atrial dysfunction, is associated with an increased risk of atrial fibrillation (AF) and adverse events in various populations. The prognostic impact of IAB in heart failure (HF) with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) remains unknown.

Abstract Aims Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is guideline recommended for the treatment of symptomatic heart failure (HF) with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction and prolonged QRS. However, patients with common comorbidities, such as persistent/permanent atrial fibrillation (AF), are often under‐represented in clinical trials.
