Stochastic Gross-Pitaevskii Equation for the Dynamical Thermalization of Bose-Einstein Condensates
We present a theory for the description of energy relaxation in a nonequilibrium condensate of bosonic particles. The approach is based on coupling to a thermal bath of other particles (e.g., phonons in a crystal, or noncondensed atoms in a cold atom ...

Estimating the Dark Halo Mass from the Relative Thickness of Stellar Disks [PDF]
We analyze the relationship between the mass of a spherical component and the minimum possible thickness of stable stellar disks. This relationship for real galaxies allows the lower limit on the dark halo mass to be estimated (the thinner the stable ...

A scalable nano‐/micro‐confinement strategy is developed, where polyacrylamide (PAM)‐LiCl hybrid desiccants are confined within hollow nanoparticles (HNPs) and assembled into raspberry‐like microbeads. The beads have a hydrogel‐rich core and an NP‐rich shell for fast absorption and desorption, releasing water 13.6 L kg⁻¹ day⁻¹.

A scalable bio‐templated approach using spray‐coating and thermal annealing fabricates cellulose nanofibril (CNF) films loaded with gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) and graphene oxide (GO) hybrids as Surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates. The 3D CNF network ensures uniform Au NPs distribution, while annealing induces more hotspots, confirmed ...

Previous studies assessing effect of ischemia on ventricular repolarization are mostly directed towards patients with coronary artery disease (CAD); however, similar reports on cardiac syndrome X (CSX) are scarce. Whether microvascular dysfunction of CSX

Normal values of signal-averaged electrocardiographic parameters and QT dispersion in infants and children [PDF]
Ventricular late potentials, and dispersion of the QT interval, are markers for risk of ventricular arrhythmias. Normal values for these parameters are well established in adults, but may not apply for children.

Minimal Length, Measurability and Gravity
The present work is a continuation of the previous papers written by the author on the subject. In terms of the measurability (or measurable quantities) notion introduced in a minimal length theory, first the consideration is given to a quantum theory in

Six stereoisomeric ruthenium‐peptide conjugates were synthesized and characterized, which showed high potential in photoactivated chemotherapy (PACT) and proximity protein labeling. Abstract Amino acid chirality is known to influence the biological properties of peptide‐containing prodrugs.

Electrocardiographic Changes Associated With Ibrutinib Exposure
Although ibrutinib-associated atrial and ventricular arrhythmias have been well described, there is little information about ibrutinib’s effects on other electrocardiographic parameters, particularly the QT interval.
