Higher Moments and Efficiency Gains in Recursive Structural Vector Autoregressions

open access: yesOxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Volume 88, Issue 1, Page 36-44, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Recursive SVAR models are identified by covariance conditions derived from the assumption of uncorrelated shocks. Recent literature has advocated using additional higher‐order moment conditions implied by independent shocks. This paper characterizes the redundancy properties of these higher‐order coskewness and cokurtosis conditions by showing

Tailored Core‐Shell Nanocarrier for Therapeutic Drug Delivery via Visible Light Activation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 2, 9 January 2026.
A core‐shell nanocarrier activated by visible light, composed of poly(3‐octylthiophene‐2,5‐diyl) (POT), iron oxide (II, III) (Fe3O4), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and trazodone tetraphenylborate (TRZ+ TPB−). During POT photooxidation (POT+), TRZ+ is liberated driven by the maintenance of particle's electroneutrality.

Back to Basics: A Curriculum to Address the Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia Workforce Crisis

open access: yesPediatric Anesthesia, Volume 36, Issue 2, Page 122-127, February 2026.
ABSTRACT The field of pediatric cardiac anesthesia faces a critical workforce shortage. Survival of children with congenital heart disease (CHD) has improved dramatically, increasing both lifetime procedural demand and case complexity. At the same time, the supply of fellowship‐trained pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists is shrinking due to an aging ...

Grief‐Related Chest Pain: A Review, Conceptual Analysis, and Integrative Model

open access: yesPsychophysiology, Volume 63, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Although the death of a loved one is a ubiquitous experience with chest pain a commonly reported symptom, grief‐related chest pain and particularly its physiological mechanisms remain under‐investigated. To address this gap, we adopted Rodger's approach to concept analysis to explore the psychoneuroimmunological mechanisms potentially linking ...

Non‐PFAS‐Based Magnetic Polymer Sorbents for Efficient Removal of Perfluorinated Compounds from Landfill Leachate

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 1, 2 January 2026.
Magnetic polymer sorbents featuring non‐per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (non‐PFAS)‐based fluorinated and cationic groups enable selective and efficient removal of multiple PFAS from complex landfill leachate. By optimizing functional group balance and polymer design, the sorbents achieve >90% removal, excellent reusability, and outperform ...
